About Bluhen
Not a place that sells 'pretty flowers' — a place that designs impressions for the occasion.
Philosophy
I don't begin by choosing flower names. I look at what came in today, read the color, and consider how the feeling the giver wants to convey should land. Some days call for a bouquet light enough to hold in one hand; other days need enough volume to hold with both arms.
Bluhen is less a shop that sells 'pretty flowers' and more a studio that designs impressions for occasions. Making a bouquet arrive and change the mood of the room first — that's the standard we care about.
Bluhen
Bluhen comes from the German word meaning 'to bloom.' Like the name, the flowers we make aim not to explain themselves all at once, but to open a little more in the moment they're received — a color that catches the eye as you pass, a volume that half-covers the face in photos, a fragrance that lingers in the car. That's the kind of scene Bluhen flowers are meant to become.
Style
Our style is grounded in European floral design. We use linen wrapping to let the texture of the flowers show through, and we compose arrangements so the colors read clearly — no fluorescent paper. Seasonal, expressive flowers — garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas, lisianthus, carnations, tulips — form the core, adjusted brighter or quieter depending on the day.
The same pink means something different at a first meeting than it does for a parent's gift. Bluhen matches those fine distinctions by hand.
How We Make It
That's why we look at the flowers fresh every morning — not to lock in combinations online, but to check the condition and color density of what actually arrived, and adjust the arrangement to its best that day. So even at the same price tier, the impression of the finished piece can differ.

What We Do
Bluhen isn't only a shop for personal gifts. We handle birthday bouquets, anniversaries, proposals, corporate events, celebrity support, and seasonal bulk orders. Some customers come in a hurry for a small bunch; others book well ahead for an important day.
Our menu runs from a ₩10,000 daily bouquet to a ₩200,000 luxury basket — and at every price point, Bluhen's color and finish never slip. Preserved flowers, dried flowers, flower boxes, orchids, and large plants are available because the scenes flowers occupy are never all the same.
How We Consult
What we care about is results, not explanations. In consultation, we don't ask for flower names first — we ask who it's for, what the occasion is, and how much volume you want. One reference image, a few color keywords, or a single sentence like 'not too much, but memorable' is enough. The florist takes it from there.
Location
Bluhen is about a 5-minute walk from Jamsil Station, on the 1st floor of Homeplus Jamsil. Some customers stop in on a whim while shopping; others make a special trip back for an important day. A wide space to browse fresh and preserved flowers together, with on-the-spot consultation — that's one of Bluhen's strengths. When you need flowers in Jamsil that aren't ordinary but aren't overdone either — properly made flowers — we're here.

Credentials are kept in the background. In flowers, the hands should speak first. A bouquet better in person than in photos; an occasion sharper in memory than the moment it sat on a shelf. Bluhen makes those flowers — chosen, bound, and finished by hand, every day.
Your feelings, translated into flowers.
For the moments that speak without words, Bluhen makes flowers today.
